The Auditor. Chehov theatre

The plot of the play unfolds in a small provincial town. The officials, preparing to welcome the inspector, mistake another man for the inspector himself. This mix-up leads to a series of humorous situations that gradually reveal the true nature of each character. As the misunderstanding deepens, the facade of the characters crumbles, exposing their hidden motives and flaws.
